Indie Game: The Movie is a feature documentary about video games, their creators and the craft. The film follows the dramatic journeys of indie game developers as they create their games, and as they release those works, and themselves, to the world.

 Indie Game: The Movie is about making video games, but at its core, it’s about the creative process and exposing yourself through your work. The film tells the emotional story of a two-man team, Edmund McMillen and Tommy Refenes, as they craft and release their first major game for XBOX, “Super Meat Boy”. It follows Phil Fish, the creator of the highly- anticipated game, “Fez”, as he shows it for the first time in 4 years at the giant gaming expo, PAX EAST. And, the film tells behind-the-scenes story an independent designer, Jonathan Blow, who made one of highest-rated video games of all-time, “Braid”. Four developers, three games, and one ultimate goal – to express one’s self through a video game.



Bulgarian Prankster deface Red Army Statue with Superman and Cap America

An anonymous artist transformed Russian Red Army soldiers from a monument in the city of Sofia, in Bulgaria, into popular superheroes and cartoon characters. Taking centre stage is Superman with his distinctive red cape and blue suit. To the left is Santa Claus and to the right Ronald McDonald, the mascot of the fast-food giant McDonalds, and the Joker also makes an appearance.
Below the graffiti artist has sprayed “Moving with the times” in Bulgarian black paint. The “artistic vandalism” appeared friday morning – but it is still not clear who is behind the colourful display.

Some hardcore carnivores have a hard time finding meat alternatives such as soy protein or tofu burgers to be palatable. But non-meat eaters may lose their appetite along with their carnivorous friends over this one – a meat alternative made from HUMAN EXCREMENT. Yep, you heard me correctly — Japanese scientist Mitsuyuki Ikeda has developed a “burger” made from soya, steak sauce essence, and protein extracted from human feces. YUMMY!

Man pierced to a Hot Air Balloon

A man took human suspension to new heights this weekend when he allowed hooks to be inserted into his back and was then lifted nearly 11,000 feet into the air by a hot air balloon.
The stunt was part of a Portland film production company’s filming of a feature-length documentary called Feet Off the Ground. Planning for the hot air balloon ride took about two years.

Chinese scientists have genetically modified dairy cows to produce human breast milk, and hope to be selling it in supermarkets within three years. The milk produced by the transgenic cows is identical to the human variety and has the same immune-boosting and antibacterial qualities as breast milk, scientists at China’s Agricultural University in Beijing say. The transgenic herd of 300 was bred by inserting human genes into cloned cow embryos which were then implanted into surrogate cows.
The technology was similar to that used to produce Dolly the sheep.
